In a world where so many people who "Don't  have a clue as
to what they want to do with their lives", I have had the
fortune to know  from an early  age what would consume
me with a passion. I started drawing at the age of four
(cartoons, of course). I have a 1/2 year of formal education
in art (high school). I enrolled in the school of hard knocks,
"Self Taught Artists". I felt it to be important that I find my
own way.
My journey as an artist is on going - I have made it my
purpose. So much so, my art and the process to create it
really does define who I am. My goal is to continue to
strive for the creation of spirit and quality in my pieces.

"It's Not Our Credentials But Our Commitment To A
Higher Purpose That Creates Our Effectiveness In
The World."

My talent is a gift from God. I try not paint what I
consider to be dark, evil, angry or violent art. It messes
with my psyche. As an artist, you become a part of the
painting, so for me, I choose to paint art that lifts my
spirit.
I love painting wildlife. There is nothing phony about
nature. If you really pay attention it speaks to you without
saying a word. I try to capture the spirit of nature in my
work. Simple yet complex.
I like to think that my work can be self-explanatory on
whatever level the viewer may perceive it. I feel that art
can have multiple interpretations and focal points to be
impact art. This is what I strive for in my work. I hope
that each piece I create stirs up some kind of emotion in
the viewer. Many times I have painted pieces that I feel
were painted for a particular person, I just never know
who that person may be until I meet them.

I thank you for viewing my work. My hope is, at the very
least, my work will provoke thought. The ultimate goal is  to
stir ones' spirit.
