Since I am a working studio, my commissions, have been my bread and butter.
Most of my portrait work is for families who have lost loved ones. Portraits are
very personal. I work very hard, again, to catch the person and their spirit. I
have even been known to remove a few wrinkles if requested. I ask for several
photos of the person so I can get a feel of their personality and paint it, then it is
not just a picture, it is a portrait.
